Privacy

Updated 28 October 2026

Flintreel is a private studio. There is no public signup. An admin creates an account, or you are already on the studio. This page describes the personal data the studio keeps so the tool can run. It is not a substitute for legal advice.

What is stored

  • Your name, email, and a hash of your password. The password itself is not stored.
  • An authenticator secret and backup codes, only if you turn that on.
  • Sessions, and a sign-in record with the time, IP address, and browser.
  • Projects, uploads, generated pictures, audio, captions, and exported video.
  • A ledger of jobs and their cost, so the studio can stay inside its monthly limit.

Why

The studio uses this data to sign you in, keep the work, show usage, and protect the account. It is not sold, and it is not used for advertising.

Who can see it

You can see your own account and the videos you belong to. Admins can see the studio’s users, projects, and costs. If a generation runs on a configured model provider, that request goes to the provider. If cloud storage is turned on later, files may sit with that storage provider. Until then, files stay on the studio machine.

Your choices

In Settings you can change your email and password, turn the authenticator on or off, sign out other devices, and delete your account. Deleting an account or a video hides it at once. A purge job removes deleted records later. An admin can edit or remove other accounts. The super admin account can be deleted only by that person, and only after another admin exists.

Ask for your data

Write to the studio admin who invited you to see, correct, or delete personal data the Settings page does not already cover.
